ADHD & Attention Concerns

Supportive testing and therapy that ease distractions and help individuals feel steady and capable.

Every brain has a rhythm. When attention is scattered, tasks feel heavier, and emotions rise fast, life can slip out of sync. At Rhythm Psychological Services, we help children, adolescents, and adults understand what’s going on, reduce overwhelm, and rebuild confidence with care, clarity, and practical support.

Whether you’re seeking a new diagnosis, a second opinion, or a plan that finally works day-to-day, we meet you where you are and walk with you toward steady, sustainable change.

What Is ADHD?

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects attention, impulse control, activity level, planning, and working memory. It shows up across the lifespan and can look different at different ages.

Common presentations

  • Predominantly Hyperactive/Impulsive

  • Combined Presentation

ADHD is real, common, and highly treatable. With the right understanding and supports, people of all ages can thrive at school, work, and home.

Our ADHD Evaluation (What to expect)

A gentle, thorough process that produces practical answers.

  1. Intake & History – We learn your story, strengths, concerns, and goals.

  2. Rating Scales – From parents/teachers (for children & teens), or self-report (for adults).

  3. Standardized Testing – Attention and executive function tasks; learning/academic screening as needed.

  4. Co-occurring Screening – Anxiety, mood, autism, trauma, and sleep factors.

  5. Observation & Clinical Interview – Context matters; we look at patterns, not just scores.

  6. Personalized Feedback Session – Clear results in plain language; time for questions.

  7. Written Report & Plan – Useful recommendations for home, school, and/or workplace.
